Join us and our friends at the Feminist Bird Club for a stationary birding and social event! Grab your binoculars and a lawn chair or blanket and send a relaxed morning at a beautiful park while getting to know your fellow birders and the birds that call this park home.
Location: Meet us by the inner playground (Google Maps location) at Tenney Park.

Bring yourself AND a donation to the Joint Tenney Park Stationary Birding event on Saturday, June 14! Donated items must all be new, unopened, and unused!

Canned proteins (chicken, tuna, chili, etc.), especially with a pop-top that doesn't require a can opener

Parking and Transportation
Parking can be found along N Thornton Avenue on the Northeast side of Tenney, or along Marston Avenue.
Metro Transit Route D stops at E Johnson at N Dickinson on the south side of Tenney Park (Metro Transit: Plan Your Trip).
What to Expect
We love new birders! As always, birders of all skill levels are welcome and we have child- and adult-sized binoculars available for those who’d like to borrow a pair.
Seating: Please bring a chair if you have one (extras you’d be willing to lend to others are appreciated)! We will have extras if you do not have a chair.
Restrooms: Restrooms are located at the John Wall Family Pavilion on the southeast side of the park.
