The BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin and the KK River Neighbors in Action (resident-based neighborhood group in Pulaski Park) will once again join together to explore the summer resident birds. This time we’ll be Kozciusko Park. Don’t worry if you can’t pronounce that. We don’t mind if you just call it Kozy Park. This beautiful neighborhood park with mature trees and a nice sized pond in the Lincoln Village neighborhood often reveals unexpected birds. Let’s see what we can find.
There is a parking lot accessed from 7th Avenue. We’ll meet near the community center by the pond.
What to Expect
We love new birders! As always, birders of all skill levels are welcome and we have child- and adult-sized binoculars available for those who’d like to borrow a pair.
